A Caedmon Music School Jubilee

This past week, a line-up of private music tutors took Caedmon's children on a jubilant tour of some of the world's most exciting instruments: the cello, trumpet, drum kit, electric guitar, flute and recorder, and the human voice. Each tutor described what makes her or his instrument unique and played snippets of tunes from a myriad genres, including classic rock and roll. Caedmon's own multi-talented J.J. Murphy demonstrated both the drum kit and the electric guitar. Oddly enough it wasn't Mr. Murphy who played "Hit the Road, Jack"; it was the trumpet, cello, and voice instructors who fell into an impromptu rendition of the song that had the whole house rocking!

Classes in the Music School begin on Monday, September 20th. There is still time to sign up, but time is of the essence. More information, as well as the registration forms, can be found on Caedmon's website.
