Interview

The Admissions Office will send you a postcard acknowledging the receipt of your application, at which time you should call at your earliest convenience to set up two interviews: an interview for your child and an an interview for both parents. If your child is ill or if both parents cannot attend their interview, call the Admissions office as far in advance as possible to reschedule.  We want the interview experience to be a positive one, so we do our best to make the time calm and relaxed.

Rescheduling of appointments is not always possible. If someone becomes ill, please call the Admissions Office as far in advance as possible. The office will be as accommodating as the schedule allows.

• Beginner, Early Program, and Kindergarten applicants are interviewed in November, December, and January. Your child will visit a classroom for 45 minutes with a small group of children.
  
  
• Applicants to Grade 1 and above are interviewed in November, December, and January. Your child will visit for 45 minutes with a teacher in a classroom and then spend about 30 minutes in an informal group activity with the other Caedmon children.
  
  
• Parents interview for about 45 minutes with the Director of Admissions.  Both parents must attend.  The interview is usually scheduled at a time different from the child's visit.
