The Capital Campaign Update!
Strengthening Caedmon’s Permanent Mission …by raising additional revenue for major
purposes.
The Caedmon School is currently in the midst of its first ever
Capital Campaign – a self-contained,three year, fundraising initiative
that is being held in addition to the Annual Giving Campaign.
The capital campaign addresses goals that embody
Caedmon’s
vision for the future.
Growing Space! Caedmon is blessed with a remarkably warm,
sunny, and practical building in which to operate, yet there is plenty
of room for improvement. Office space, assembly space, an elevator,
and instrumental music rooms are but a few of the modifications on the
Caedmon wish list. Enhancing the building to meet our changing needs
requires careful planning and periodic, but substantial capital investment. The
current capital campaign is aimed at two specific renovation projects:
the elementary/Early Program science room and the gymnasium.
A Piggy Bank! Though Caedmon is financially strong,
like any responsible family or institution, we must invest in the school's
future by saving. Caedmon needs a permanent and ever-growing endowment
fund dedicated to supporting faculty salaries. Earnings from this endowed
fund will assure that our skilled and creative teachers are competitively
compensated in the years ahead, so that they will always be able to
share those gifts at Caedmon.
