The Marilyn Ann McTague Fundfor Faculty Development

Your donation here helps our teachers further their professional growth in ways that will enhance their expertise in the classroom and reinforce their commitment to Caedmon. The fund enables them to complete their graduate studies, to travel, or to attend conferences dealing with topics as varied as researching in a 21st Century library, strengthening the math problem-solving skills of our students, or helping children cope with divorced or deceased parents.

Marilyn Ann McTague began her teaching career at The Caedmon School in 1971. The young and energetic Miss McTague took up the call with the same intelligence and good humor that still characterize her work at Caedmon today, thirty-two years later.

Over the years, Miss McTague made an indelible impression on her young charges, balancing warm sensitivity with a no-nonsense approach to discipline. Parents remember her complete devotion to their children and remain forever indebted to her for her wise counsel.

In 1995, Caedmon created The Marilyn Ann McTague Fund for Faculty Development to recognize Miss McTague’s many years of service, and to honor and support Caedmon's greatest resource: our teachers.
