The Mary Ann Winograd Endowment for Faculty Salaries

It is with great fondness and deep respect that the Caedmon community honors the memory of Caedmon parent, trustee, Admissions Director, and friend by naming after her the very first endowment in our school’s history.  In her own staunch, but low-profile manner, Mary Ann set a standard of elegance, sound judgement, and quiet good humor among all of us who knew and worked with her at Caedmon.  Her presence and influence will be dearly missed for many years to come.

Because of her abiding respect for all who work to educate our children in the ways of discipline, tolerance, self-respect, and personal achievement, it is entirely fitting that we dedicate to her this endowment in support of our teachers.  With her guiding presence, Mary Ann was a teacher to all of us.

The dedication and support that she and the Winograd family have shown to the mission of The Caedmon School during the better part of the past two decades leaves us forever indebted.
