The Caedmon Chorus

Offered as a weekly after-school club activity, the Caedmon Chorus is open to elementary children grades 3-5 who have demonstrated a particular talent or interest in singing. They meet in the music room for one hour every Wednesday at 3:30pm. Led by the music teacher, they compile a holiday repertoire that is performed at The Junior League of New York and local senior centers. Their spring repertoire is also performed in many local venues. In addition, the Chorus is a frequent guest at school functions and alumni events and is usually featured in the school plays.

Caedmon-in-Motion

Caedmon-in-Motion is a performance and dance club open to all interested students in the upper elementary grades. Meeting on Wednesdays at 4:30 and led by our yoga teacher, the group focuses on developing individual skills and body awareness. The students are also encouraged to explore their creative talents by choreographing innovative dance routines in preparation for an annual spring recital.
