Extended Day at The Caedmon School

Extended Day is available as a general childcare option for all families after 3:30 PM dismissal.

Our 2025-2026 Extended Day Program

After receiving a snack, students play outside in the courtyard or engage in indoor crafts and games. Students in first through fifth grade spend a portion of Extended Day in Homework Helper, where they attend to their studies in a quiet classroom. Music School students may attend Extended Day after dismissal while waiting for a later-starting music lesson. Children may also go to Extended Day following an Afterschool class or music lesson.

Payment

The billing rate for Extended Day is $30/hour. Minutes and hours accrue through the month and the business office sends out an invoice at the end of each month. Families are only billed for the actual time their child is in Extended Day. As with After School classes, Flex Tuition families are billed at a discounted rate. 

Annual Program

Caedmon's Extended Day Annual Program offers significant savings for families who intend to enroll their children in Extended Day on a daily basis. Families enrolled in the Annual Program may sign up for one Afterschool class free of charge. Registration for the Extended Day Annualized Program opens in July on CampBrain.

Registration
