How to Apply to The Caedmon School

We offer both in-person and virtual opportunities for families to get to know us before applying. Our events provide a glimpse into the joy, curiosity, and engagement Caedmon students experience every day. Families are warmly welcome to come and visit Caedmon before submitting an application.

• Complete our online application form (requires registration on Ravenna)
• Include required documents
• Pay the application fee

Preschool Required Application Steps:

• Submit an inquiry
• Register for an Early Childhood Group Tour, Presentation & Panel Discussion (In-person)
• Interviews (scheduled after we receive your application)
  • Beginners: Family Interview (parent(s) and child)
  • Early Program Threes and Fours: Parent Interview + Small Group Child Interview
  • Early Program Fours: ISAAGNY form completed by current school

Kindergarten/Elementary Required Application Steps:

• Submit an inquiry
• Small Group Tour & Presentation, 1:1 Parent Interview, & Q&A Session Schedule here
• Small Group Child Interview (scheduled after application submission)

Step 3: Interview & Assessment

We’d love to get to know your child!

• Attend an interview (specific to grade level)
• Complete any requested assessments or activities
• Meet with our Head of School and/or faculty members

Step 4: Admissions Decision

After careful review, we'll notify you of our decision.

• Accepted families will receive further instructions.
• Waitlisted families will be notified if space becomes available.
• Families are encouraged to contact us with any questions.

Important Dates to Remember

Preschool

(Ages 20 months – 4 years, 9 months)

• Application Deadline: We are continuing to accept applications for admission until all interview slots are filled
• Notification: Thursday, February 26, 2026, 8:00 AM
• Parent Reply Deadline: Thursday, March 5, 2026, 12:00 PM

Kindergarten & Elementary

(Ages 4 years 8 months and up)

• Application Deadline: We are continuing to accept applications for admission until all interview slots are filled
• Supporting Documents Deadline: Thursday, January 8, 2026, 5:00 PM
  • ISAAGNY form, report cards, and transcript from current school 
• Kindergarten Notification: Thursday, February 5, 2026, 10:00 AM
• Kindergarten Parent Reply Deadline: Thursday, February 12, 2026, 12:00 PM
• Elementary Notification: Wednesday, February 11, 2026, 4:00 PM
• Elementary Parent Reply Deadline: Friday, February 27, 2026, 12:00 PM
