How to Apply to The Caedmon School

We’re excited that you’re considering The Caedmon School for your child.

Here is a simple, step-by-step guide to our admissions process. If you have any questions along the way, our Admissions team is here to help!

Ways to Get to Know Us

We offer both in-person and virtual opportunities for families to get to know us before applying. Our events provide a glimpse into the joy, curiosity, and engagement Caedmon students experience every day. Families are warmly welcome to come and visit Caedmon for any of the following events before submitting an application.

• Campus Tour - Experience Caedmon’s campus and see our classrooms and facilities up close.
• Open House - Some are for parents, and some are for the whole family.
• Curiosity Classes - Experience our faculty and approach firsthand with your child.

Step 2: Submit Your Inquiry or Application

• Complete our online application form (requires registration on Ravenna)
• Pay the application fee

Required Application Steps:

• Register for a Group Tour (In-person)
• Submit your application
  • Give your child's current school permission to send Caedmon the following, if applicable
    • ISAAGNY School Reference Form (Preschool through Grade 5)
    • Report cards (Elementary applicants)
    • Transcript (Elementary applicants)
• Interviews (scheduled after we receive your application)
  • Small Group Child Interview
  • 1:1 Parent Interview

Step 3: Interviews & Assessment

We’d love to get to know your child and you!

• Applicants attend an in-person interview (specific to grade level)
• Parents meet virtually 1:1 with a member of the admissions team
• Complete any requested assessments or activities

Step 4: Admissions Decision

After careful review, we'll send you a notification email.

• Accepted families will receive further instructions.
• Waitlisted families will be notified if space becomes available.
• Families are encouraged to contact us with any questions.

Important Dates to Remember

Preschool

(Ages 20 months – 4 years, 9 months)

• Application Deadline: Monday, December 14, 2026
• Notification: Thursday, February 25, 2027, after 8:00 AM
• Parent Reply Deadline: Thursday, March 4, 2027, before 12:00 noon

Kindergarten & Elementary

(Ages 4 years 8 months and up)

• Application Deadline: Monday, December 7, 2026
• Supporting Documents Deadline: Friday, January 8, 2027, 5:00 PM
  • ISAAGNY form, report cards, and transcript from current school 
• Kindergarten Notification: Thursday, February 4, 2027, after 10:00 AM
• Kindergarten Parent Reply Deadline: Thursday, February 11, 2027, before 12:00 noon
• Elementary Notification: Wednesday, February 10, 2027, after 4:00 PM
• Elementary Parent Reply Deadline: Friday, February 26, 2027, before 12:00 noon
