Our program is devoted to offering private music lessons and classes taught by New York's most talented and sought after music instructors and performers.

The Caedmon Music School is fortunate to have a faculty of highly qualified teachers who are devoted to sharing their years of teaching and performance experience.

Music Lessons & Classes in NYC

We offer private music classes for piano, voice, classical guitar,   rock guitar, violin, drums, cello, flute & recorder, trumpet,  and ukulele, to name a few.

The FunikiJam classes, Strum Buddies Ukulele class, Circle Drumming Class and Suzuki voice lessons are perfect for our youngest musicians! The Caedmon Music School is open to students of all ages and skill levels, including adults, and you do not have to be a Caedmon student/family to enroll.

Music lessons are offered Monday through Friday 3:40 PM-7:10 PM as well as on the weekends. Performance recitals occur in the winter and spring, with receptions and award ceremonies following each recital. Our summer program is also quite popular for continuing lessons, or starting anew!

Many of our students go on to compete in prestigious music competitions here and abroad, and often place in these competitions or are awarded performance opportunities at major concert venues.

A love of music and a desire to learn is all that you need! Aspiring musicians of all ages and skills are welcome at The Caedmon Music School. You do not have to be a Caedmon School student to take music lessons at The Caedmon Music School. Our private music lessons and classes are open to the entire NYC community.  

To register for lessons:

• New non-Caedmon families need to sign up for a CampBrain account with The Caedmon School. Once confirmed with a Caedmon account, new families will be emailed with a login link. 
• Existing Caedmon families should sign into their existing Camp Brain account and go to Program Registration.
