The Caedmon Music School offers high-quality private music lessons and engaging group classes taught by some of New York City’s most talented and sought-after music instructors and performers. Our program provides students with exceptional music education in a warm, supportive environment, helping children grow as musicians, creators, and confident learners.

Music Lessons & Classes in NYC

The Caedmon Music School offers private music lessons and group classes in New York City for piano, voice, classical guitar, rock guitar, violin, drums, cello, flute and recorder, trumpet, ukulele, and more. Our expert instructors provide high-quality, personalized instruction for students looking to build strong musical skills in a supportive environment.

For our youngest musicians, we offer engaging early-childhood classes, including FunikiJam, Strum Buddies Ukulele, Circle Drumming, and Suzuki-based voice lessons. The Caedmon Music School welcomes students of all ages and skill levels—including adults—and you do not need to be enrolled at Caedmon to join our program.

Music lessons are available Monday through Friday from 3:40 PM–7:10 PM, with additional weekend options for families seeking flexible scheduling. We host winter and spring recitals featuring student performances, followed by receptions and award ceremonies that celebrate their progress. Our popular summer program also provides opportunities to continue lessons or begin a brand-new musical journey.

Many of our students go on to compete in prestigious music competitions here and abroad, and often place in these competitions or are awarded performance opportunities at major concert venues.

All you need is a love of music and a desire to learn! Aspiring musicians of all ages and skill levels are welcome at The Caedmon Music School. You do not need to be a Caedmon School student to enroll—our private music lessons and classes are open to the entire NYC community.To register for lessons:

• New non-Caedmon families need to sign up for a CampBrain account with The Caedmon School. Once confirmed with a Caedmon account, new families will be emailed with a login link. 
• Existing Caedmon families should sign into their existing Camp Brain account and go to Program Registration.
